The model comes with a 2.0-liter engine producing maximum power of 189bhp, and it has an excellent cabin.

Audi A4 and Skoda Superb are similar cars to this model. Though the A4 will offer you superior qualities, the model costs more than 2 Series.

Superb comes at a lower price than 2 Series, but it has inferior specs, especially fuel efficiency and engine power.

Active Tourer/Gran Tourer (F45/F46; 2014) Review

Those two are designed as people carriers coming with five and seven seats. They are available as a front-wheel-drive or all-wheel drive.

Active Tourer carries five people well but is less appealing as its floor is not entirely flat with seats down.

Gran Tourer is longer, and it holds seven people well, but the rear ones will not be fit for long distances if the occupants are adults.

BMW 2 Series Active Tourer (F45)

Active Tourer is a 2-row compact five-seat multi-purpose vehicle that is produced by BMW. Its production started in August 2014.

You can choose various engines that include a 1.5-liter turbocharged producing 134bhp and 2.0-liter diesel giving out 148bhp.

Your pocket is taken care of when it comes to fuel efficiency, with the 216d variant consuming around 23.8km/h, almost like a Honda Fit.

The trim levels for the model include the SE as the entry one moving up through Sport and Luxury brands to the highest-ranking M Sport.

BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer (F46)

The vehicle comes as a seven-seater powered by various petrol and diesel engines. The entry-level petrol engine is a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder engine giving 134bhp.

Another petrol variant you get is a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that produces 176bhp.

For the diesel version, you can go for the popular 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 187bhp.

Though it is not the best BMW in terms of looks, you can’t argue it’s a well-built family car.

The standard features include LED headlights, cruise control, and dual-zone air-con.

The model also comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity, an electrically controlled tailgate, and a boot button to operate the backseats.

BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe’ (F44; 2019)

You get the model in four variants that include 220i Sport, 220i M Sport, 220d Sport Line, and 220d M Sport, and they come in both petrol and diesel engine.

The two engines come as a 2.0-liter turbocharged, producing 198ps and 280Nm for petrol and 190ps and 400Nm torque for the diesel version.

Both engines come mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a front-wheel-drive system.

Interiorly, you get ambient lighting, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver’s display, and a panoramic glass roof.

Maybe you are now wondering where to get your model. You can get a used BMW 2 Series for sale in Kenya by owner or go for BMW 2 Series JiJi Kenya.

However, those local cars will have some hidden disadvantages, including tampered mileage, mechanical problems you may not recognize quickly, and engine problems.

In other words, the sellers have a reason for selling the vehicle. Also, our roads are not friendly to cars due to their nature. It’s a high risk going for locally used cars.

Importing a vehicle can also be a hustle if you go to the wrong dealer. And that’s where we come in as one of the trusted car dealers in Kenya.

We can deliver a well-maintained car with clean mileage for you through our agents abroad at a discounted price of up to 10-20% of the local showroom prices.
